Follow Downtown Brooklyn’s Pizza Trail as a true specialist leads you on a roughly one-mile walking tasting through a mix of Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn Heights, and the Columbia Waterfront. Visit three rotating pizzerias — coal, gas, and wood-fired — and learn how oven technology shaped regional styles. Expect a deep dive into Neapolitan pizza, live pizza making, guided tastings, and expert commentary from licensed sightseeing guides who focus exclusively on pizza.

What's Included
All tours include pizza tastings, kitchen tours, in-depth pizza analysis, and everybody gets a take-home Pocket Pizza Journal to help keep track of your slices.
Weather & Attire
All tours run rain or shine, please dress appropriately. If we need to cancel in the case of severe weather, we'll contact you 2 hours before your tour is scheduled to begin.
What if I'm late?
Our tours start on time so please plan to be there before we begin or you might miss out on a slice. Every tour meets at your first pizzeria stop, which is where we'll be for the first 30 minutes of the tour. Since we route our tours as they go, we won't know where the group will be after your first pizzeria stop. Please be on time or you may miss the tour.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing a refillable container for water. We discourage the use of bottled water, as New York’s tap water is among the cleanest and tastiest in the country. Tips for your guide are not mandatory, but greatly appreciated.
Accessibility
There are three steps to get into our first pizzeria. Restrooms are available to customers at most pizzerias.
